
Chief Ayirimi Emami is an Itsekiri son, born at “Orubu” Akpakpa-Ajudaibo (seashore) to the families of Late Chief Akonu Emami from Obaghoro (Warri North), Ugborodo and Kantu (Warri South West), Okere and Omadino Communities Warri South and Okwagbe in Ughelli South Local Government area which are all oil bearing communities of Delta State and Mrs. Felicia Emami Nee Ogunfeyinmi from Ilaje-Ese Odo Local Government Area of Ondo State.

He is married to Mrs. Asba Jite Emami and the union is blessed with two children namely Master Oritsenoyo and Miss Oritsemisan. Chief Ayirimi Emami rose from a home grown Iwere Niger Delta boy to a successful business magnate, peace crusader, philanthropist, astute politician and passionate advocate for the all round development of Warri kingdom, Delta State, Niger Delta and ultimately Nigeria at large.

Chief Ayirimi Emami is a political scientist, graduated from the Delta state University, Abraka. He is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of A & E Group Nigeria limited which is a major contractor to Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Nigerian Petroleum Development Company (NPDC) and International Oil Companies (IOCs) in Nigeria namely Chevron Nigeria Limited (CNL), Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) and we have a good track record of having delivered major projects for Southern Gas Constructors (SGC) in the construction of Escravos Gas To Liquids (EGTL) Project for Chevron Nigeria Limited, SAIPEM Contracting, Julius Berger Nigeria Limited, Daewoo E&C.
He is a Niger Delta activist, youth Leader, philanthropist and a successful business magnate. Chief Ayirimi Emami played pivotal roles in the concerted efforts to re-build the ruins in Warri Kingdom after the needless genocide against his people during the Warri crisis, He also helped in the rebuilding of Ode Itsekiri and Ugborodo which were destroyed.
As a philanthropist, he has helped so many people in their academic pursuits from primary to tertiary level. Of significant note is the fact that he provided two Ferry Boats with total capacity of 80 pupils each for the school children at Ode Itsekiri and Orugbo Communities to convey them from Warri urban to and from various schools in the riverine communities on a daily basis which is still ongoing. He has also helped in setting up small scale industries for some of his people who have grown to be beneficial to others. As a growing businessman, he is currently building a shopping mall and a multipurpose complex in Warri that will create employment for the youths of Warri and environs.
For his exemplary conduct and selfless service to his immediate environment and beyond, a Chieftaincy title was conferred on him by Ogiame Atuwatse II, the then Olu of Warri (CON), on the 28 th April, 2012 as the AJUWAOYIBOYAMI of WARRI KINGDOM alias AKULAGBA, barely two days after his thirtyseventh birthday celebrations, making him the youngest chief in Warri kingdom (a first ever record in Itsekiri-land). To be made a chief in Itsekiri land is no mean feat, which bellies the fact that his philanthropic and people oriented acts are second to none and appreciated by the highly revered Warri monarch and his subjects. The Olu of Warri, His Majesty Ogiame Ikenwoli elevated this noble son of Iwere land and bestowed on him the title OLOGBOTSERE OF WARRI KINGDOM (Traditional Prime Minister) on October 20 th 2017. A position second to none in the entire Warri Kingdom and the 4 th ever in Warri chronological history of Ologbotseres.
Chief Ayirimi Emami as an activist has helped in the reduction of kidnapping and armed robbery in the Warri metropolis which led to the government appointing him as Chairman of the Delta State Waterways Security Committee. During his tenure, the rate of kidnapping and robbery was brought to the barest minimum as many notorious elements who made Warri metropolis and environs insecure, were apprehended.

Chief Ayirimi Emami was one of the youngest founding members of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State and rose to the position of Party Chairman in Warri South West Local Government Area. He used his position to bring about peace in Warri after the crisis which has been sustained till date. He is a detribalized Deltan and as such employs and empowers people from all parts of Delta State and beyond. He was the Chairman of the Itsekiri Regional Development Council (IRDC), a body established by Chevron Nigeria Limited in conjunction with the government to cater for the needs of the various host communities wherein their operations cover.
He was also the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of Ugborodo Community Trust. He was a Director in the firm, Oil Facility Surveillance Limited (OFSL) that has helped to reduce oil theft and illegal bunkering in Delta State hence the increase in the oil production quota for the state. Due to his drive against illegality and collaboration with the Nigerian Army, they have rid the Delta State Waterways off illegal bunkering and militancy.
His defection to the All Progressive Congress (APC) in 2015 was as a result of disbelieve in the PDP led government and in order to key into the APC change agenda that the APC government represents. As a result of his political astuteness and uprightness, he was appointed Deputy Director II, Election planning and monitoring committee of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council on the 7 th January, 2019. This committee worked tirelessly to ensure the successful re-election of President Muhammadu Buhari’s second tenure.
Chief Ayirimi Emami is a loving husband and father, and together with his family undertakes the gesture of organizing end of year parties for children of Ode-itsekiri, Orugbo and Ugborodo communities as well as various orphanages in Warri and environs…
